Welcome to Renewal of the Spirit Institute and Project Return Web site for our
progressive, accredited, customized grades 7-12 homeschooling program via online
and green curriculum. . We also have High school online courses called Project
Return for those students between the ages of 17-100 who have dropped out of High
School and want to return to get a High School Diploma or those student who are
looking for something different in school. We offer accelerated programs in our
high school, so you can finish all your courses in just one year and graduate.
We integrate peace, counseling, life skills, back to basics, and cultural
diversity studies along with core subjects. We have just become an international
school; and we will be training parents in home school skills and helping
parents and educators open their own private schools all over the world.
What makes us different?
We let our students work at their own pace, we
include sustainable living curriculum we teach science that includes using
herbs, vitamins and wholistic health. We teach our students how to broadcast
their own online radio programs and online Television programs. The students who
live in the Tri-State area get cooking, life skills and other workshop face to
face training, but we incorporate this online as well. We believe in green
living so that it not much paperwork involved. We encourage our students to look
at themselves as the new entrepreneurs.
We believe that all our students are individuals with individual and
collective needs, interests. We believe that our students have their own special
talents for learning and we try to help them see it through their eyes. We work
to create a home school curriculum to our students, rather than forcing students
to adjust to the curriculum. We encourage our students to follow their dreams
whither it be college education, culinary education, beauty school or welding,
just to name a few wonder choices.
We want our students to follow their bliss and explore all the wonders of the
universe. We want our student’s lead the greatest life they can.
Although we are Christian Based all children are welcome, we teach cultural
diversities so that our students will learn early on to respect all people
regardless of religious beliefs, creeds, and colors.
Our fees are nominal
$50.00 per month for an individual student, special rates for a whole family per month for a school housed under our umbrella. We give our schools
complete support. We research free and exciting things, we provide a curriculum,
and we find grants for our schools and give them complete freedom to do their
own thing.

About the Founder
Dr. Gonzales holds a Doctorate in Pastoral counseling and certifications in
Herbology, drug and alcohol counseling, aroma-therapy, prayer meditations,
Healing Touch Therapy, Creative Healing Art Therapy & relaxation.
She
was the Pastor of Renewal the Christ Center in Elkton Maryland and is now one of
the Pastors at the Church of God Chapel in Delaware City, DE. Dr. Gonzales is
also an instructor At Delaware Technical Community College, and the Wilmington
University Graduate Center. She is an elementary school counselor in the
Christina School District.
She was the therapist & Chaplain for Bowling
Green Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, and is also coordinator for home
school groups and founded and High School called project return for dropouts.
She was the therapist for the YWCA of New Castle County Domestic Violence
Program and the founder of Renewal of the Spirit Institute.
The school was
founded for those seeking to follow God's call to the ministry and to work
independently with God's plan for them. The school provides Training in Pastoral
Counseling, HIV Training, Domestic Violence Training, Hospice Training, Theology
the Institute also provides herbal training, wholistic health care training,
Life Mapping, and also has a healing school.
She has hosted a Radio Talk
Show called Renewing Your Spirit on 1260 AM which ran every Thursday from 4-4:40
PM for two years. It was a Christian Counseling Talk show, which dealt not only
with emotional problems , but how to enhance spiritual growth, small business
information, herbal information, what's going on in Delaware and the surrounding
Tri-State area and positive messages of love and hope for all God's people. She
now hosts her own show on blog talk radio and will be doing a television segment
in the spring of 2010.
